Chan's Personal Journey to Self-Healing
I'm a physician with
an engineering Ph.D. from Stanford University,
and my medical degree is from the University of
California, Davis. I was born in China.
During my life I've learned multiple self-healing
skills from both East and West, although I didn't
fully appreciate their power until I was found
to have a large brain tumor. Since then, I have
expanded my repertoire of self-healing techniques
and greatly improved my life.
I have:
• successfully shrunk my tumor
• improved my ability to control and prevent
headaches
• improved my ability to manage hay fever
• found a remedy for my allergic reaction
to insect bites
• learned skills for controlling my eczema
• sharpened awareness of my body, my health,
and my life
In
the process of healing myself, I have learned
the basic ingredient for self-healing: awareness.
Techniques I've found most effective include relaxation,
imagery, sensory awareness, and breathing exercises
such as Qi Gong.
The self-healing approach is not for those who
prefer to be passive and "cured" by
others. There are many doctors and healers around
who will gladly do, or promise to do, that for
you.
However, for those people who have experienced—and
are frustrated with—available conventional
treatments, and who have the motivation to explore
their own power, I offer my experience and knowledge.
I invite you to join my self-healing classes as
pioneers in the new generation of healthy humans.
